Stop Action,Blurred Motion, Light Trails, Water

This is my Assignment, First I had to learn how to use the shutter speed the  shutter speed for each picture I take because everyone one of them should be differently. For stop action I had to use a fast shutter speed and for blurred motion I had to use a slow shutter speed. I took my stop action pictures in school and I edited them on Photoshop. I took my blurred motion photos at home and also edit them on Photoshop. I took the light trails pictures using the shutter speed for 15 seconds and using a flash light to make the pictures. The water pictures I took some of them on the rainy days and others were only for water using a regular shutter speed.

This is Stop Action. I took this picture of a ball that was going about 70 miles an hour during baseball season. Its Tommy Medica, first baseman for the San Diego Padres. I used a fast shutter speed and a aperture of about less than a second. The way the light was in the mid day made this picture all more the better.

This is Blurred Motion. I set the cameras shutter speed to be around 30 and set the aperture at around 4 seconds. I saw how my fan was mooing kinda fast so I thought that taking a picture of it moving fast with the shutter speed being slow, so with this, the blades of the fan would become blurred and would end up being blurred motion. I honestly didn't really like this assignment because it was a little difficult for me to decided the correct ISO and the correct shutter and aperture speeds.
This is Light Trails. I set the camera to be at bulb and I left the lens open for about 15 seconds. I used a purple glow stick to make the design. I walked tom one side to the other and spelt out the word Love. I had a lot of fun with taking this picture;just doing light trails in general cause I got to express my own ideas into photography and just really enjoyed this assignment.
This is the Helix H2o. In this picture my friend and I were at Lake Murray on the dock. I thought the water from the lake behind us was a really beautiful setting ad had really good water movement. I really actually enjoyed the water pictures because water comes in all different shapes an sizes and it doesn't hurt to have fun while doing your homework.
